The reasons why to use a water-proof picnic blanket

    Enjoying an outdoor picnic with some friends or family can always be fun during the summer. The sun is radiant and shining on your face, the kids are playing and laughing, perhaps a glass of wine while the sun is residing, But moist grass can put some negativity on this whole atomosphere. Damp grass is quite cool to walk through but it's a different thing entirely to sit on it all day long.So you need to use picnic blanket.

There are some reasons why using a waterproof blanket on a picnic is just straight up better than a normal blanket.

One of these reasons is that it will save you effort after the picnic. A picnic blanket will often get dirty because it's on the ground constantly. You can be almost completely sure that your blanket will get stained with dirt, earth and grass.

Another reason that's closely related to this is that all the dirt, water and grass will also reach your pants or skirt if you're sitting on a normal blanket. A waterproof picnic blanket will stop water in its track and because of this your clothing will not get stained.

The third reason is that a waterproof picnic blanket will provide more comfort. Since moisture and ground water is usually quite cold, avoiding this water from moving upwards into your blanket will allow you to stay warmer. You won't feel that cold underground.

Also, a waterproof picnic blanket is specifically made for picnics and on damp undergrounds. If you're taking a regular blanket with you, it might just not cut it for an actual picnic. Partly because of the reasons above and partly because the used materials are just not suitable for outdoors.
